Hey, I'm Stephan Schultz.
If you haven't met me in person yet, simply imagine a guy who prefers doing what he enjoys (which happens to be creating software and photographing stuff) all day long. I live in Potsdam and work in Berlin, travel quite a lot and attempt to have fun wherever I go.
Although my main profession is software engineering, I consider myself to be a passionate and semi-professional photographer. If you would like to know more about me as a person, check out my main website or get in touch.
Gear
I'm lucky enough to be able to work with high-end equipment. Currently I'm using two Canon EOS bodies, a 6D Mark II and an M5. I love the mirrorless M5 for its low weight and tiny size, making it ultra portable. The full-frame 6D amazes me with its reliable performance and the fact that I can customize it using Magic Lantern.
Attached to these bodies are mainly my Tamron lenses, an SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, an SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD or an SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2. They cover a focal length from 15 to 200mm with an aperture of F/2.8, which is awesome!
When required, I'll also bring some Canon Speedlites (600EX II-RT), diffusers, ND filters, remotes and whatever fits into my camera bags.
